About Me
My friends lovingly refer to me as “Common-Sense Megan” because I think very logically and tend to say what’s on my mind. I am an analytical and empathetic problem-solver, who is always looking for a better, more efficient way to do something.
I fell in love with UX design because it’s the perfect combination of the science of human behavior with the art of interface design and I want to make products that truly make people’s lives easier.
My journey into UX is a unique one- I’ve been an Optometric Technician, an HR & Compensation Analyst, an Assistant Manager at a pizza restaurant, and more.
These experiences have taught me a lot, especially how to work with people, embrace change, and be adaptable.
When I’m not working, you can find me soaking up the sunshine, playing with my pets, going on adventures, savoring delicious ice cream, or diving into a good book. These experiences fuel my creativity and inspire my work.
I am also a co-organizer for a local meetup group Portland UX Design Hub, we have awesome events and host a UX book club, check it out!
